But wait - there's more

I have the worst luck with cameras in Italy... yeah.  Sitting at dinner last night with my Italian teacher, near Santo Spirito and "plop," into my soup it goes! Nope, sorry, not true, although I wish it was. Then at least I would still have my pictures... Actually, sitting with my purse under the table and "whoosh," it swipes by my leg, and when I look down, my purse, with my camera and wallet inside, is gone. I jump up and see a man riding his bike like crazy down the street, so I jump up and take off in a sprint after him, in sandals and a dress. My only thought was "get the bag back!" How? "Taekwondo him!"  I am not even really sure what that means or what it would look like, but it is probably better I didnt catch him... He disappeared down a dark street and probably slipped in a doorway somewhere I couldnt see, but hopefully I at least scared him a little. Anyway, since I was leaving early the next morning, I had packed everything very carefully back in to my wallet, including every credit and debit card i have for the USA or Korea, my drivers license, and my alien resident card for Korea... meaning I may or may not have been able to get back through Korean immigration when my plane landed 18 hours later... but thats another story.

Anyway, cards can be cancelled and replaced, oh well about the cash, but... all my pictures from Italy... gone. : ( That is the worst part. (of course unless i couldn't get back into Korea, and then being stuck in the airport might have taken precidence). But anyway, that is my story.  Ugh.
