The Countdown Begins

Within a month I will be packing up my bags and heading back to life in the States.  It doesn't feel like I have been here for 16 months, but then I think about all the things I have been able to do: teaching and other activities, conversations and worship, travels to new and old places.  I know this time has been well spent.  A few months ago I was wondering what all this was for.  What would I be able to take away from this time?  I wanted to be able to identify some big PURPOSE in God sending me here, so I could tell myself, "THIS is why..."  I didn't have one thing that stuck out to me in a big way.  But now, I don't feel like I really need that anymore.  I have changed in so many ways.  I have loved God and loved the students and teachers, and that is enough.  Maybe I will get to see how God used that someday and maybe I won't.  But it is enough for me to know that I was where God wanted me to be, when He wanted me to be there.

The BIG PURPOSE has been revealed...and in the right order; "Seek ye first...."

With joy for you :)
