So I forgot to mention that I had my first midwest thunder and lightning storm last week! It was amazing! You could see the bolts of lightning flashing right over the dorm and then right away the thunder would crack right over us! Earsplitting! Nothing like I have ever seen in Seattle! Then it started raining like nothing else and a bunch of people, my roommate included, went outside to run around and roll in the puddles... I stood and watched them and prayed that my roommate would not get a bolt of something that would make her slightly less than enthusiastic about the storm... :-0
Anyway, here is a picture of a couple of us after being outside for about five minutes...
