An Awkward Moment...

Don't you hate it when there is something wrong with you? I'm not talking about having a bad hair day or something, I'm talking about having your fly unzipped while you are talking to someone or a stain on your shirt that you don't know about... Such was the case with me today. I have done so well since I got here at not making a fool of myself, but, I had my first slip up today, and about time. :)
Hurrying to my 2 o'clock class I grabbed the frosted donut I had saved from breakfast and nibbled at it on the way. It was hot so the frosting was melting quickly, which of course made it all the more delicious! So fast forward an hour or so. Class is over and I walk out of the building and run in to one of my guy friends. Not exaggerating to say that he is for sure one of the coolest people here on campus, at least of the ones I know, and definitely in my "I-want-to-make-a-good-impression-because-I-want-us-to-be-friends" category. Anyway, we talk and then I walk back to my room.
A while later, preparing to go out again, I go to brush my teeth and was greeted with a horrific sight in the mirror! There is a huge dallop of now-dried donut frosting on my shirt and a splat on my chin. Of course. And it was there during class and the whole time I had talked to him... That will teach me to eat on the run! :)
Anyway, really just made me laugh. God sure has a sense of humor. You think too much about making an "impression" and God decides to wittle your ego down to size and reveal the real you, with all your faults and frosting stains... I love it! Haha, and I'm pretty sure my friend didn't think anything of it... either that or he was just laughing at me the whole time and loving every minute of it! :)

I bet that he didn't even notice.

Cause he's an ignorant fool, if we're thinking about the same person, which I'm pretty sure we are.

(He's one of those people that makes eye contact or hides his eyes. So don't worry)

Still quite funny though.
