Being back at school has been really good. I have a lot of work to do, but I really like my history class (always helps since that's my major...) so that almost makes it all worthwhile! As for the rest of life... well, you read above about the difficulty of describing such experiences in this medium, therefore, I will remain silent on those issues... except to say that - God is taking me by the hand and putting giant obsticles in my path for me to climb over, that require so much muscle to conquer and overcome, I have no choice but to turn to God and rely completely on Him to give me the strength to make it. I can not get through this on my own, so I am trying to turn to the only One who can really get me through this, and learn the lesson He is trying to teach me. And I'm reminded of a famous quote by Corrie ten Boom that I am very familiar with because of the frequency for which I have cause to look at it...
"I've learned to hold everything loosely, because it hurts when God pries my fingers from it."
..............................

But... despite the other circumstances of my life - THE SEAHAWKS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!! After years and years and years of being a Seattle Seahawks fan, they are finally making their first Super Bowl appearance ever!!! They hadn't even been in the playoffs since the early 80s, and now look at them! And having always been a fan of Shawn Alexander - although for different reasons now than the ones in 7th grade (wink wink to sister Jayne) - it is so great to have him finally be MVP and everything! Fantastic! My only sorrow is that I was not at the playoff game that was held at our very own Qwest field, sitting with my Dad in the 300 level... such a shame! Anyway, hope you're all watching and cheering for the Seahawks this Sunday evening as they win their first Super Bowl!!! :)
