Saying Goodbye!

The last week home was fun and hard. Trying to squish all the things that I hadn't done yet into a few days - not fun. Doing most of the things that I hadn't done yet - fun.
I spent some time with my Dad, which was really nice because him going to work during the day meant I didn't see him as much as everyone else. We went and saw a movie and then went out to dessert at Red Robin and talked for a couple hours. It was nice to hear him tell me about his life in college a little bit, and the decisions he made. We laughed about a lot of things and remembered a lot of things, and planned a lot of things too.
I spent time doing a spa night with my youthpastor's wife, Amanda, and their daughter. We gave her a bath and played in the water with her a little bit too! She has such a pleasant, friendly personality, that you can't help smiling when you are around her! After she was in bed, Amanda and I enjoyed pizza, a movie, and some pampering. It was the perfect end to my visit, and so relaxing and fun!
My sisters and I got together one more time to say goodbye and watch the movie Raising Helen - my oldest sister hadn't seen it, and it reminded me of the three of us, so I insisted that we watch it together. I think it caused us to both laugh and cry during it, and afterwards sparked some conversation about all of us and how we have changed. I have never felt so close to my sisters, as the three of us together. I was really blessed to be able to have that time with them.
I flew back on Saturday, and spent some time with my parents in the airport. I was sort of sad to leave, but it was time to come back. I had a full visit and was ready to come back to school, although I could have done without all the homework and stress of school! Now I have been back for almost two weeks, and am getting re-used to the swing of things, which makes everything easier!
