Turning 19

I turned 19 years old on the 21st of December. I had pancakes for breakfast - my favorite - and then headed out for the afternoon with a couple of my closest friends from home. We drove up to Seattle to my favorite place - Wonder of Worship (WOW) Bubble Tea. It is a Christian-owned family business up by the University of Washington, and I love going there. The atmosphere is so fun and unique. We enjoyed having bubble tea and playing Jenga. There was a lot of laughing, talking, and catching up.
In the evening, my family and I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia; Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was really cool and inspiring. I enjoyed sitting next to my sisters and looking excitedly at each other throughout. The only one missing was my brother, and he was sorely missed. My sisters read the Chronicles to me when I was little and we always saw the four of us siblings in the four siblings of Narnia. My oldest sister was Susan, the beautiful older sister, my next sister was Peter, the stong leader of our group, my brother was Edmund, annoying but turns out good younger brother, and I was Lucy, the youngest one that no one ever believes, but who is close to Peter, and picked on my Edmund. While things have changed somewhat in the last 10 years, those roles still remind us of... well... us. Because of that, my brother's place was blaringly empty.
After the movie, we went to Red Robin for dinner and dessert, and I opened some presents. It was nice to be with my family in a festive and happy atmosphere.
